About this service

Penny-Care is an evaluation version of an AI assistant, called Penny, that answers questions on a business’s website using only what that business has written.

It is for evaluation

This is not a finished product. It is being tried by a small number of people, and it may change, stop working, or be reset without notice. Nothing is charged. Trial workspaces are set to end after 60 days. When a trial ends it stops answering visitors, and it is kept for a while so it can be extended; after that it may be deleted, along with everything in it. Please don’t rely on it for anything important.

If you are chatting with Penny

• Penny is an AI, not a person. She can be wrong.
• She can’t make promises, take payments, change an order, or contact you later.
• Please don’t type card numbers, passwords, ID numbers, or health details into the chat.
• If something is urgent or needs a person, use the contact details the business gives you.

If you run a workspace

Don’t put confidential material, or your customers’ personal data, into your runbooks. Anything you publish may be shown to the people who chat with Penny on your website.

What happens to what you type

Messages in a chat are stored, and the business that runs the chat and the people who run this service can see them. They are sent to Anthropic, which makes the AI model, so that Penny can reply. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, bot checks and delivery by Cloudflare, and the service itself runs on DigitalOcean and Supabase.

We have not yet written a full privacy policy or terms of use. This page describes what is true today.

If you ask for a demo

When you fill in the demo request form we store what you type (your name, work email, company, what you would like Penny to help with, and anything else you choose to add), when you agreed to be contacted, and the campaign or page that brought you to the form. We use it only to contact you about Penny-Care, and we will delete it if you ask. The form is protected by a bot check from Cloudflare. We do not yet have a retention schedule, so your details are kept until we delete them.
